Accessibility Statement

The Graduate School NRW is committed to providing barrier-free access to its website (https://www.pknrw.de and subpages), in accordance with the North Rhine-Westphalia Disability Equality Act (BGG NRW) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance North Rhine-Westphalia (BITV NRW) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council on the Accessibility of the Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies.

Status of Compatibility with the Requirements

The Accessibility Requirements are set out in sections 3 (1) to (4) and section 4 of the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance North Rhine-Westphalia (BITV NRW), which was issued on the basis of Section 10e of the North Rhine-Westphalia Disability Equality Act (BGG NRW).

This website is partially compliant with EU Directive 2016/2102.

Methodology of the audit: Self-assessment

An evaluation based on the test steps of the WCAG test procedure is to be commissioned this year.

Content that is not Web Accessible

The following contents integrated into the website of the Graduate School NRW are not yet barrier-free:

• PDF documents: Due to the large volume, it has not yet been possible to convert them all into an accessible format. They will be successively adapted.

We are currently working on improving the accessibility of the site. However, we ask for your patience, as some of the content has been taken over from the previous site and still needs to be gradually adapted. We are endeavoring to remove the remaining barriers as quickly as possible.
