In our general information sessions, prospective doctoral candidates, professors interested in participating, as well as our members and associates, receive a comprehensive overview of the Doctoral School NRW. Topics include membership, doctoral studies, and application procedures.
Content
In this session, professors will receive a comprehensive overview of the Doctoral School NRW, its tasks and structures, as well as the current criteria and procedures for admission as a full or associate professor. We will also explain the possible paths from associate status to full professorial membership.
Additionally, participants will be informed about the doctoral process, including the key requirements and framework conditions that must be observed.
All participants are warmly invited to ask questions and actively engage during the session.
Following the main session, the Doctoral School NRW will offer a supplementary session exclusively for women.
