In our general information sessions, prospective doctoral candidates, professors interested in participating, as well as our members and associates, receive a comprehensive overview of the Doctoral School NRW. Topics include membership, doctoral studies, and application procedures.
Content
In this session, Prof. Dr. Eike Quilling, board member of the Doctoral School NRW, will provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the Doctoral School NRW, its tasks and structures, as well as the current criteria and procedures for admission as a full or associate professor. Prof. Quilling will also explain the possible paths from associate status to full professorial membership.
Additionally, the session will cover the doctoral process, including the key requirements and framework conditions that must be observed.
The Doctoral School NRW aims to particularly encourage female professors and women pursuing a professorial career to consider participating in the Doctoral School NRW and to learn about the many opportunities for active involvement.
All participants are warmly invited to ask questions and actively engage during the session.
A general information session for all interested professors will be offered prior to this session.
